Has someone been able to deploy a View 4.5 Connection Server (Standard) with a vCenter 4.1 Update 1 server ? I'm getting a "Error saving vCenter entry" error. I did clear out like the VMware KB says the vShield licenses from my vCenter. My View 4.5 has no issues connecting to a vCenter 4.0 or vCenter 4.1, but it's stuborn with my vCenter 4.1 Update 1 Regards, Erik Bussink

I have an internal View infrastructure, and my View Connection Broker has the Direct Connection to Desktop disabled. As I'm having some unregular issues with disconnections of multiple ThinClients at the same time, would it be best to Enable the Direct Connection to Desktop ? Infrastructure Config : ThinClient are HP t5730 (XPe latest 5.1.710 OS with QFEs) with View Client 3.1.1, Desktops are Windows XP SP3 with View Agent 3.1.1 and View Manager is still in 3.1.1 (need to upgrade it to 3.1.2).

Well I guess, only when you ask the question, do you get a hint at how to solve it. I've found out that using the vdmadmin.exe command line tool on the remaning server, can be used to remove the View Manager entry. vdmadmin -S -r -s <viewmgr_to_be_removed> It's best described in the Command Line Tool for View Manager (PDF)
