Is it possible to configure app settings in an AppStack prior to deploying to users. I understand that you can create writable volumes for the user to save their configurations to, but i am wanting to set some things so the user does not have to. example: I want to create an AppStack for Firefox with a certificate already imported to allow filtering though our departments web-sense security application. If i import this into Firefox and then capture the AppStack this certificate is gone when i apply the AppStack to a VM. thanks
i think Ibourque is on the correct path. anytime i have done a sidebyside update with a dat.1 file it had to be a full local install and not streaming.

I have created a Thinapp of Crystal Reports XI and everything appears to be fine except you can not open a report directly from selecting a reports file. If you open the application and browse for the file everything works as it should. if you try to select a reports file without going through the application browser (say from the file being on your desktop) it will open the Thinapp but no document will be displayed. I have tried to capture it with versions 4.7.1 - 5.0.1 with the same results. I am capturing on a Windows 7 machine and deploying to Windows 7 machines as well. Aany help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

i have a newly created thinapp of IE 10 captured with Thinapp version 5. the thinapp works fine for almost all things except one. the issue we are having is that we have a internal organization website that is used to look up information and print . when selecting the print option it pulls up another form in a seperate window. when doing this you get prompted with warring "this page is accessing information that is not under its control". if i adjust security setting "Access data sources across domains" to enable this takes care of this on a normal installation of IE, howerver in the thinapp no matter what i do it only opens up a blank page and will not display any information. any help with this is greatly appreciated. thanks
