I have IE installed locally and basic plugins like Flash and Java installed locally. When I click on my entry point for IE in a few plugins and got to a page with flash the browser windows crashes then trys to recover a few times then ends with res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm before the website. The current workaround I have is to disable the add on for VMware Adobe Flash Optimizer and then it is working. Also on one of my dev desktop pools it works but I have copied everything including gpo to my other dev pool and I can't figure out what is different.  I wanted to post this to see if anyone else is having this issue and if they can suggest a fix. Horizon View 5.3, Win7 x64 desktops Thanks

I have tried to use my certificate on my USB smart card to encrypt and decrypt email using a webaccess plugin thinapp. I have also found the same problem in out Adobe Pro thinapp when signing PDFs. If I install a software certificate inside of my VDI desktop that works for both functions. I have a user testing a regular smart card but that looks like it will work as I can see my expired cert on an old smart card. I tried the fix from this article for 4.7 but then I can not see my expired smart card and the USB still does not work. I have also tried Thinapp 5.0 and 5.1 If anyone has this working please let me know. Thanks

In the 2.2 and 2.3 clients I am seeing a problem when our users use our guest wireless network then go back to our wired network. This only occurs when the Wireless network is the first network adapter specified under the network configuration. When on the wired internal network the client will get prompted by the external security server then after the user enters the OTP credentials they should get prompted for AD credentials but the client then starts communicating with the internal connection server and fails with could not establish tunnel connection. I have run wireshark when connecting to confirm that the client is going to the DNS server on the wireless network specified in the registry when trying to connect to the internal connection server. I have run wireshark on my personal computer at home and found the client checking the active network adapter dhcpnameserver registry entry before checking the dns server from my connected network. This was not a problem in the older clients. Maybe the unique thing about our network is you can ping our DNS servers on our guest network from the internal network. Workarounds.. This will work unless the user duplicates the issue that caused the problem in which case it will fail again- Clear the HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet000\services\tcpip\parameters\interfaces\(Click on the active interface) Clear DHCPNAMESERVER This will fix the issue but the user will need to pick the connection server, this is what we are doing until this is fixed. Under options select configure ssl, disable ssl Add a new connection with the IP of your internal connection server or VIP if your load balancing Tell the user to use this when inside the network and the regular connection when they are outside the network Pretty sure it is the same issue reported in workstation already. the nat dns resolver sends queries to the former dhcp dns servers of a disconnected adapter My reason for this post is to see who else has this issue as to hopefully move my ticket with VMware up in priority. Thanks

I have tried packaging on 32 and 64 bit machines in Thinapp 5.0. The only time I can get the icon to appear on the taskbar is if the machine alread has chrome installed. I cant find much information on changing the default icon for a program in windows 7 without using a 3rd party tool. I am trying to can figure that out so I will be able to see the location Chrome is trying to pull this icon from. I had to do the Flash hack as well to get that working.
