I installed the Identity Manager 2.7 in a cluster of 3 appliances. When I look at the System Diagnostics Dashboard, all 3 appliances give an alert on "Application Manager - Integrated Components" > Messaging Connection > Connection test failed. I can't find what this means or what this Messaging service is suppose to do. Any help is appreciated. Previously, the status was all good.

I have an issue with Identity Manager 2.7 and Access Point 2.7. When a user tries to login through the Access Point, the login hangs. I see a rotating cursor-thingie in the middle. When I enter an incorrect password, I get the response immediately. The certificate seems to be correct on the Access Point, the users get to the login-screen of the portal. Anyone have got this configuration working? It was a Windows 7 OS. I will try to reproduce it today at another customer with Windows 10.

I noticed that the Unity Touch sidebar still shows all the application shortcuts that are originally available for all users, even when I manage the start menu with VMware UEM, where I remove Common program groups from start menu and delete the Windows start menu at logon. How can I make sure the user only sees the managed shortcuts (managed by VMware UEM) in the Unity Touch sidebar?
Only the last one will get called I believe.
Yes, that does seem to do the trick, thanks!

No, it was not included. But I just tested it and it makes no difference. Still the macro error. No Appstacks attached and it works, 1 appstack attached with just putty in it for example, and Word gives an error with macro's. Office 365 Click to run is installed in the base image. Doesn't matter if I create appstack on clean Windows OS or with a Windows machine with the same office installed.
How to prevent this? I have uninstalled an application from an appstack because I added it to the golden image. when I log in with the appstack attached, the locally installed app disappears

I don't want VMware Identity Manager for everything because this is for our demo environment where we showcase different solutions to our customers, I don't want Identity Manager to show up in every demo (well, I don't mind, but my colleagues do ;-)). For other use cases, where a customer has an active Office365 environment with ADFS as IdP and they want to test VMware Identity Manager in a Proof of Concept, I don't want to change the way O365 is currently working but I do want to show SSO with O365 apps from the Identity Manager portal.

I have the following challenge: I have Office 365 federated with ADFS. When users want to login to the Office 365 portal or Outlook WebAccess, they are redirected to the ADFS login portal. Then the users can login with their Active Directory credentials and are then redirected back to Office 365 portal or OWA. This works fine. Now I have implemented Identity Manager and want to add OWA and Office 365 portal webapp to the Identity Manager portal so users can single sign on to the Office 365 applications. When I read the integration documentation, I can do this by federating Office 365 to Identity Manager. When users want to login to the Office 365 web applications, they are then redirected to the Identity Manager login interface. I don't want that. I want to keep the excisting authentication for Office 365 (through ADFS) and I want to enable SSO for users that are accessing Office 365 webapps through Identity manager. Is this possible? Anyone with experience with this?
Thanks. Which version are you using? 2.0.1 or 2.0.2?
Can the VMware Tools in the EUC Access Point be updated to the latest version? EUC Access Point is by default running an unsupported version of VMware tools.

I implemented the EUC Access Point and I have 1 issue. When a user logs in to the Webportal through the EUC Access Point, but doesn't connect to a desktop session and immediately selects log out on that interface, it redirects to the internal address of the connection server: https://<internal ip of connection server>/portal. Is this a bug? Anyone else experiences this? I used the VMware Access Point Deployment Utility to deploy the Access Point and everything else is working. When a user does log in to a desktop session and then logs out, it redirects to the correct url.
Yes, this will work. Only writable volumes will mount only once.
