Horizon Client doesn't support this function(adjust time zone).
Horizon should not support this kind of redirection so far.
For the crash issue, please open the SR with the full level logs and dumps. More information is needed to analyze the root cause. Thanks!
RDP doesn't support autofit function. Please switch to Blast or PCoIP.

I saw some cases like yours. Under the slow network(e.g RTT is around 180ms), some remote features are not work very well. From customers side they will check how to improve their network condition. From VMware side, they are doing the performance tuning on the specified remote feature like Clipboard redirection.
RDP(protocol of Microsoft) doesn't support the read-only feature. You need to switch to Blast or PCoIP connection.
The feature should be just supported by 8.x Client/Agent so far.
Horizon client should not detect location of the user.
About the option "Client drive redirection", do you mean the "Share Folder" menu option on the remote desktop Window? Please check whether your agent installed/enabled CDR feature.
Please check the user guide about "Sharing Specific Folders": https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Horizon-7/7.13/horizon-remote-desktop-features/GUID-2823B8E7-F05D-45E0-961E-237B78ACDB60.html
For SoftHSM2, this is used for Device Cert authentication with UAG. If you don't use this feature, you can ignore the installation steps.

- When is the data logged/saved? - Ctrl + V operation - When the data is copied/in-clipboard from the client machine - After Ctrl + C on client side, if you move your mouse to remote desktop Windows, then the copy data will be send to agent side. When Ctrl + V is triggered on agent, the copy data will be saved to Agent Clipboard - and it is actually 'paste' into the Agent Machine via shortcut or otherwise. - Not the shortcut, but the data in Clipboard content - You can use the 3rd party tool to monitor the Clipboard content on both Client and Agent

Please provide more information: - Which Horizon Client are you using? Windows, Linux, Mac Client or HTML Access Client? - How about your Client version? - "when they open Google Chrome (to browse internet, mail, etc) it suddenly starts freezing", do you mean that if smart card redirection is not used but you still see the Chrome browser hang issue on agent side? - How do you use the smart card with remote app/desktop? From the description, you are using smart card on USB redirection, right? Recommend you to use smart card redirection feature directly to get the better performance. - "I've tried to give to those users another Google Chrome app entitlement from another farm", looks like you are using Chrome browser as the remote app. Have you seen the issue when using remote desktop with Chrome browser?
Is this a new issue for 8.x Linux Agent? or have you tried the case on 7.x Linux Agent?

It might be a problem of Fabulatech's hooking dll. Please try to rename C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ftapihook32.dll to ftapihook32.dll.orig to disable scanner/serial redirection to see whether it works. Or you can install a new Horizon Agent without "Scanner redirection"/"Serial port Redirection" functions(remove the item from agent installation) to narrow down the issue.

Please give more information about your problem: - How do you use WinSCP? You are launching WinSCP as a remote application or just launching it within the remote desktop? - Is there any error message when launching WinSCP? Is this a problem about WinSCP itself? - Have you tried to use vSphere to open the remote desktop and launch the WinSCP? Does it work?
Analyzing such problems(Black screen) is complicated and requires a lot of additional information. Please ask for help through SR.
This is a function of Agent SSO. Broker passed the PIN to Agent, so PIN is not needed.
