Is there anything that can be done to allow a Horizon VM running in a remote Datacenter to access a local IP Address. I am going to visit a company (different companies) and using a Windows Surface Pro X,  will be given access to their local network (file shares and IP addresses of Large Format Printing Devices). While visiting this company, I will connect to a remote VM in my Datacenter (Horizon Server & Client 2106). I will access files (graphics files) on there local network, work on those files in my remote VM and then Print those files to THEIR local Printers (not like regular print redirection; these are BIG industrial Printers and are accessed only by IP Address with special software.   Now, some of the  Applications on that 'remote machine' needs to 'see' the IP Addresses of those Printers that my Surface device has access to and can see.    The Surface OS is Windows 11 Enterprise and the remote machine is Windows Server 2022    So smart people, how can this be accomplished? (I control the remote datacenter)  (If my apps were running locally, no problem but they are in a remote datacenter)   Please point me in the right direction and Thanks.    

OK. Here is a bonus question.... Having successful implemented Touch ID with IOS 12.1.1 and Horizon View 7.7, connecting to a Windows Server 2019 [as Desktop] machine. How can I do the same thing using the Direct Connect Plugin (bypassing the Connection Server)? I've gotten as far as getting IOS to Trust the Certificate of the Desktop but emulating the effect of adding "BioMetricsTimeout=-1" to the Connection Server ADAM database is another thing. A clever solution may not be supported but when has that ever stopped anyone from wanting to do something. Kind Regards ps. I logged in with direct connect and logged out but no button showed to enable Touch ID and it still works immediately when I connect to the Connection Server (I get the finger ID prompt right away). So the problem is definitely, getting the local CS to see that BioMetricsTimeout=-1, some how. Adding that line to the ADAM database serves to 'enable/turn-on the feature. How can I turn it on inside of a machine running the direct connect plugin?

What more must I do to get 2008 Server R2 SP1 to 'register' in Connection Server. When I install the agent, with the Desktop Mode switch, I am not prompted for the location of CS, it just installs and when I check Registered Desktop Sources and the Servers=OU. It is not there. FYI, my sample VM is Enterprise edition and NOT Datacenter. It THIS the deal breaker? I signed up for a view trial and would like to download and try Feature Pack 2; but I can only see FP1 from the eval page and am told I need permission to get FP2 from another page. Can anyone help?
