If you pull up your licenses manager in my vmware. Then change the drop down to upgrade license keys.

I know bar code scanners work, keyboards, Mice, printers, and headsets work. Our big deal is data leaving the company with a USB of any kind. We block all USB storage devices. You could also do this in your GPO Computer configuration > policies > windows settings > security settings > file system right click and ADD FILE and type %systemroot%\inf\usbstor.inf and within this you should be able to grant a AD group certain permissions to that file (i.e DENY).
Under the pool go to policies, and remove usb access. This will remove all USB storage devices.

If you delete the outlook profile completely including the OST file. Then create a new mail profile and choose non-cache mode. You can not just switch it you have to take out the OST.  Also if you look in the persona GPO you can include what folders to sync so you could add the %appdata% folder to make sure it gets synced to the profile. This might solve the issue. (Stabbing in the dark on that one) but i think the non-cache mode works the best in linked clones. It loads faster and not as much data to more around.
Run outlook not in cache mode. This solves 99% of the issues.
Thank you. I guess i did not read that part. Thanks for the help on my idiot moment.

I have a virtual desktop that is missing. It is not showing up in vcenter. And in the view admin it shows missing and fails to clone or remove. We are running view 5.3 on 5.5 I have went through the KB 2015112 but ran into an issue on the last part. Removing the linked clone references from the View Composer database, Active Directory and vCenter Server. Use the SviConfig RemoveSviClone command to remove these items: The linked clone database entries from the View Composer database. The linked clone machine account from Active Directory. The linked clone virtual machine from vCenter Server. SviConfig is located on vCenter Server hosting View Composer (or standalone Composer server) at: 32-bit servers: Install_drive\Program Files\VMware\VMware View Composer 64-bit servers: Install_drive\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware View Composer Before you remove the linked clone data, make sure that the View Composer service is running. On the View Composer machine, run the SviConfig RemoveSviClone command. The command looks similar to: SviConfig -operation=RemoveSviClone -VmName=VMname -AdminUser=TheLocalAdminUser -AdminPassword=TheLocalAdminPassword -ServerUrl=TheViewComposerServerURL When i try to run the SVI commands it errors saying the command is not recognized. Am i missing something?
This really sounds like a GPO or Registry issue.

Well this is the answer. Basically when you created the pool you assigned the parent vm, snapshot, Host/Cluster, resource pool to this pool. So it has issues because it does not know where that stuff is. if you open your pool and choose edit. Go to the Vcenter Settings tab and change the parent vm, snapshot, Host/Cluster, resource pool settings to match with the current cluster configuration. You will have to wait for this change to take effect then do a recompose. (I cant remember if it does a refresh on its own or not so that is why i said do a recompose).
Just make sure you can use another printer on that print server through the same vlan.

Can you hook a USB printer other than the Dymo printer to the desktop? If that works, than its a driver issue with the Dymo printer.
You can not do this without a recompose. If you edit the pool and go to the vCenter Settings and change the Datastore location.
Do you have the USB redirection installed with the view client?
Can you see the printer in "devices and printers"?
I hate this issue. I usually do recompose at night when everyone is off to stop this from happening.
Did you add the new host to the old cluster or create a new cluster? What all did you add when you brought in the new host?

External works fine. But yesterday you said internal worked. Or did it only seem to work? Is it giving a error when you try to enter your credentials? I guess first thing to check is to make sure your client has no proxy. The second thing would be to check the HTTPS secure tunnel setting and make sure it has the :443 at the end. Does it work if you change your connection method to RDP instead of PCOIP?
