Yes, we support that since from Horizon 6 version 6.1, which was released earlier this month. Please note that we only support Storage devices so far. If you happen to use Horizon Client Windows 3.3 client, you can also use this feature with remote app session. Right click a pool in desktop selector dialog, and select "Settings", click "USB Devices", then select a device, click "Connect" to redirect the device to app session. Let me know if any further questions or problems. Enjoy it.

Does it help if you unplug and replug the device? Does it help if you restart client PC? Does it happen for other devices or only one device?

What kind of device is it? Is it a smart card? Please enable the device through GPO by following the steps below. 1. From Horizon View Agent download page, download GPO Bundles. 2. Import vdm_client.adm to your client PC. 3. If it is a smart card device, please set Allow Smart Cards as true 4. It doesn't matter if you don't know whether it is a smart card, you can just set Include Vid/Pid Device as vid-xxxx_pid-yyyy, you can find vid and pid from Device Properties of Device Manager, the format should be like vid-0781_pid-9999. You can also set the GPO on agent side in similiar way. Let me know if it helps.
If you use 3.0 client, the filter settings should just work fine on Windows 8.1.

Hi Dan, Actually there are two issues: 1. Agent side: We got the same result and failed to get two devices work if set the GPO on agent side. I can confirm that this issue will be addressed in our next agent release. 2. Client side: We did have issue with 2.3 client, and we have fixed it with View client 3.0, and I can make two devices working fine with setting the GPO on 3.0 client side. But it seems you couldn't. So I just want to figure out what's the differences between our envs. Thus I'd like to confirm again, could you please help to check if you are using our latest 3.0 client 32bit: Download VMware Horizon Clients and 64bit: Download VMware Horizon Clients ? Thanks, Sarah
Hi Dan, May I know if your issue has been resolved? Regards, Sarah

Hi Dan and Long1989, We did have problems with View client 2.3 and lower version for splitting more than one device, but we should have fixed that with View client 3.0. I know you mentioned above you were using View client 3.0, just to double confirm if Download VMware Horizon Clients for 32bit or Download VMware Horizon Clients for 64bit are the builds you have tried? As I just tried on my env, and no "USB Unavailable" issue was observed, and everything seems fine. Please note the setting below is set on client side. SplitVidPid: vid-07b4_pid-0255(exintf:00;exintf:01;exintf:02;exintf:03;exintf:04;exintf:05;exintf:06);vid-07b4_pid-0256(exintf:00;exintf:01;exintf:02;exintf:03;exintf:04;exintf:05;exintf:06); IncludeVidPid: vid-07b4_pid-0255;vid-07b4_pid-0256 Sorry for keeping you trying and really appreciate your time. Regards, Sarah

It means HP Officejet 4580 printer works well on View 5.0 env as a USB device.
