that was a good idea, didn't think about going to flash interface. Getting similar message. It's weird since my host is neither disconnected or in maintenance mode. I also went in to to ESXi console and checked the agents. I restarted them just in case (even though the host is showing connected in vCenter and I can start and stop any VM's on that host). Recently installed a new Horizon 7.12 server. Two clusters, 1 mgmt and 1 resources (desktops). When building an IC pool, at the cluster selection screen, my resource cluster is greyed out and I can't choose it for my pool. vSphere is 6.7 U3 for the two hosts in mgmt cluster. my 192.168.3.241 host is running 6.7 U3 as well. My host is not disconnected or in maintenance mode, even if the message says that. I created new VM's on that host, from vCenter UI, no problem... Why would the host be greyed out? picture joined

The version information comes from the program installed and is grabbed during install. You could reverse engineer it and search the registry key (most likely under MSI install path) or you could also just go in the SQL Database and update the version there. Updating the SQL DB is at your own risk as support often says that modifying the tables directly is not safe. Curious though, why did you package the apps together and not individually? Packaging them together will prevent you from updating a single app, you'll have to update the whole package any time one of the apps change...

Hi, For Horizon 7.x on-premises, App Volumes 3.x should not be used. App Volumes 3.x is meant to be used with Horizon Cloud only. On the download page, VMware posted this: Important note on VMware App Volumes Customers should continue to use App Volumes 2.x as the recommended platform for all on-premises production deployments. I understand this is easy to miss, Please install App Volumes 2.13.3 for any on-premises deployment. Sorry about the confusion, let us know if you are having any issues with the 2.13.3 release.

The structure is still accessible at a lower level (subfolders). The issue is that some applications need access to that level directly and as Raymond mentioned, in 2.13.1 and 2.13.2, that is no longer accessible. We are aware of the issue and we are working on a fix in an upcoming release. No release date for that version yet but will keep this community post updated as soon as we have more info.

It's ok to use IP address but please keep in mind that when you upgrade to App Volumes 2.12.0 or above, Certification validation will be enforced by default (higher security) and if you use cert validation, you will need to make sure you are using FQDN and not IP. It might be better to understand what's the cause of the name resolution, most likely a DNS issue. Using SSL Certificates with App Volumes Manager (2148178) | VMware KB

Apologize for missing this post. Were you able to resolve the issue? The template did not save the favorites, that option was not set... An easy way to add them would be to open Firefox with Application Profiler, start your modifications (add favorites for example), then save the changes with predefined settings. Also, you can, within App Profiler, you can choose to uncheck "Enable Registry Exclusions" and uncheck "Unable File Exclusions". This will give you more granularity but also more informaiton to parse before saving.

This is most likely related to Elastic Search not finding the first node properly. You don't specify here but I'm assuming you have 3 nodes up and running correct? Have you tried to reboot the first node, then boot node 2 and 3 at same time? I need a little bit more information on your environment to provide more information.
Sorry I did not see this sooner. For some reason, I never got notified that you sent this... Let me try to get back to you in the next couple of days, if this is still valid for you.

Created this document to help customers configure their 3-node Identity Manager cluster, running with an F5 LTM in front of it. This was done with IDM 2.8. It is not meant to replace current documentation but more along the lines of a deployment guide document, including screenshots. Would appreciate any comments and feedback.
