A customer recently reached out to our Customer Success team and mentioned that one of their users had accidentally deleted a dashboard that they used often. Unfortunately the 30d window had passed since it was originally deleted, which means that the dashboard was no longer retrievable......or so we thought! A team member of the Wavefront engineering team shared this helpful tip with our team that I'd like to share with you today: Recreate a new dashboard and add the original URL associated with the permanently deleted dashboard If you do this, then the past revisions associated with the permanently deleted dashboard will appear in the dashboard history. At this point, you can simply revert back to a previous version and you're good to go. This requires that you know the original URL associated with your dashboards, so it may be a good idea to keep a record of those just in case. Click to view larger image The legend is one of the most frustrating parts of the Wavefront interface for me. Even after weeks of using Wavefront I still constantly find it in the way. It pops up in random places, more often than not over what I want to see. It has a ton of information in it beyond the two things I care about, the time and the values for each metric.
