I'm at a blank when it comes to adding more than 1 processor for vmware 16 pro. I installed macOS Sanoma on vmware workstation and followed the instructions I found to finish the installation and this virtual machine is running very slow. Host is running a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K with 128GB of RAM the fastest computer I've built, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti video card. When I try to add another processor I receive this warning about adding additional processors. Other than software configuration I don't understand why I cannot add another processor, booting up macOS is slow, running it is even slower, I did do something that is probably not recommended, and article I found stated that disabling Core Isolation speeds up the vm however leaving you open to attacks like malware. Is there some sort of solution to this other than disabling security features in the host?
Hi all, I'm running VMWare workstation on a laptop but I don't see the battery indicator in the guest. It's a Debian Linux machine if that matters. Any suggestions? Thanx in advance.

Yes the VMware tools are installed and the autofit is checked. However it still looks un even. Though when I click the quick switch option it fits nicely but I can't see the icons on the desktop like Home or Trash. What gives? Edit: Nevermind, I just played around with it and found out that it wasn't at my host machines resolution and kept quick switching it.

Hi all, I've just installed VMWare Workstation 7 and loving the features, however I need to make the guest completely full screen. I've install the guest additions for the guest for a Debian virtual machine properly and completely. Now I'm trying to get it to go full screen, when I click the full screen button in the VMWare application it goes full but the resolution is not all the way, I set the resolution of my laptop to the native 1360x750 but when I enter full screen mode on the guest it doesn't fill the screen completely. How can I accomplish this? Thanx in advance.
