Thanks, gbullman. I'll try that, but I'd still like to see it work as advertised. I think I have everything set the way it is supposed to be.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you may lend. I'm running Windows 7 as a guest under VMWare Fusion 3.1.1. I can print from my OS X 10.6.4 apps without a problem. I've been trying to print from the W7 side, but unless I first go to Virtual>USB and select Connect Brother Printer, I cannot print successfully from within W7. Instead, print jobs go into the queue and just sit there. If I do actively connect the printer, everything seems fine. But it's my understanding that my Mac default printer should also be recognized as my Windows default prtr if I have the the Enabled and Match the default printer on the Mac printer settings turned on. What am I missing?
Thanks, folks. That did it. I can't believe I missed that, as I thought I'd scoured the menus. Thanks again.

I was wondering how to control whether the host (Mac OS X 10.6.3) or guest (Win 7) sees a CD that I put into my MacBook Pro? For instance, I put in a music CD just now, and Windows Media Player came up automatically, but I'd rather play it under iTunes on the Mac side. How can I control which side of the system sees media I put into it, whether it's a CD, DVD, flash drive, or whatever?

Thanks. I must be misunderstanding what you're describing, though. When I go to VMware Fusion > Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Mouse Shortcuts, I only see two boxes there that can be checked on or off: Secondary Button and Button 3. Checking off both of those did not appear to make any difference.

Thanks for getting back to me. I also have a MBP running Fusion 3, and the guest OS is W7. I want to only use the MBP keyboard, and it has a Control key on the left side, but when I do Ctrl-click in a Windows app, it shows the right-click menu, which as you know is a Mac OS-type result. When I do a shift-click to select a range of items, it only selects the arrow is on when I do the shift-click.
