I have a Lenovo laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5850U CPU and 48GB of RAM running Windows 11. My RHEL 8.6 VMs on Workstation v16.2.5 suffer from a slow grub countdown timer at boot if the VM is configured with 16GB of RAM. This does not happen for similar laptops with Intel CPUs. Once the system boots, performance is fine, but I am concerned that the slowdown could occur in some other part of the system. I would like to understand what may be affecting this and how the slowness can be avoided. Thanks Rob
