Hi All, Feel free to move this post to an appropriate location if this is incorrect. This is my first post and was unsure if this is the right forum. basically i have been having some trouble with duplciate sids when I build and join a newly created server to my domain as part of my lab. I wondered if there was a way of cloning or making a template that creates a different SID thus not getting the errors i am currently experiencing. I hope someone call help or offer and advice. Hi All, First Post. I am fairly familiar with vmware but not vmware workstation. My issue is when I have built a new server the IP address is from DHCP and NAT. I have built a vm domain controller and need to input a static IP Address. I populate the IP Address details from the IPConfig on the server. The server has internet access but when I enter a static IP address with the exact same details it loses connectivity to the internet. Can anyone let me know what this issue is about as I am not sure how to diagnose due to the fact it works on a non static IP Address. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
