I have a folder in my guest that I turned on network file and folder sharing. Let's say my Network Path is \\GUEST\folder1. In the host computer, I can access \\GUEST\folder1. However, other computers in my network cannot access \\GUEST. How do I make this work?

Change the HGFS file system of a shared network drive in VMWare Player to NTFS?

I'm trying to install Dropbox on the guest and point it's directory to the network shared drive which points to a drive on the host. Basically, Dropbox does not support the host OS, so I'm trying to install it in a guest and have it's files still show up on the host. The host's drive is formatted as NTFS, however, the shared network drive in the guest is formatted as HGFS. Is it possible to change this to NTFS? Dropbox is only compatible with NTFS.
