Hello. I am using VMware Player on a Windows 11 host and in a Windows 11 Gest. When I run "Webex Meeting" video application from the Guest, there is a crash of the VMware Player with the following error: VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vcpu-0) Exception 0xc00000005 (access violation) has occurred. This happens on a Dell Inspiron 7306 laptop. Searching down a little bit what happens, I figured out that this seems to be related to the audio driver, because when I go to "Virtual machine settings / Hardware / Sound card" and I uncheck the "Connect at power on" checkbox, then Webex Meeting doesn't make VMware Player fail anymore. Of course the sound is not there, which is the problem. The audio driver is a Realtek Audio. The peripheral hardware is: INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0295 It seems that this hardware is not supported. Can you please check and try to reproduce the error with the same audio device hardware? Thank you.

Hello. I am getting the exact same error message on a Dell Inspiron 7306 laptop dated 2022. This is what is shown in the logs as error: vmx [msg.usb.connectFailedErr] The connection for the USB device 'Microdia Integrated_Webcam_HD' was unsuccessful. Driver error. This shows up as soon as I try to connect the camera from the "Player / Removable Devices / Microdia Integrated_Webcam_HD" option in the running VM. To answer the same questions: i. Yes the camera works perfectly under the Host in Windows 11 ii. It never worked in the Windows 11 Gest iii. I did not find the Microdia webcam driver on their website nor on Dell's website, so I cannot install it. From the message, it seems to be really only related to this webcam hardware. It seems that the support should be able to reproduce this error easily if trying on a computer that has the same webcam. Thanks for any help.
