Hi team, Anyone got performance issues on Windows 23H2 with updated VMWare Workstation 17.5? My system is freezing for sevral seconds for simple tasks like deleting a tab on Excel or waiting for an administrator approval prompt when updating a software. It's also a madness to accept a Zoom call. I increased CPU cores, increased priority to high, removed debug logs and memory trimming but the performance issues persists. Thanks a lot
I tried that, it's not effective

If you are using EFI firmware for your VM then there is no option to set the power on NumLock state. Also, some Linux distris can ignore this setting after bootup

Dear All, I would like to know if there is any ninja trick that allows the Number lock to be always on so that the number pad will be working as normal, because I always forget to enable it and while typing in a file everything is messed up. Please, how can I set it up to be on suring VM startup? I am running Windows 11 guests (UEFI/Secure boot enabled because of TPM), so there is no Keyboard Settings on BIOS.  Thank you in advance
Just for record, error persists on VMWare Workstation Pro 17

Does the Webcam work correctly on the Host when its not connected to the VM ? Yes Is it that the Webcam has never worked with the Win 11 VM, or is that it intermittently connects to the VM ? Never worked with this VM, I also tested in Ubuntu VM and it also does not work Have you installed the appropriate Win 11 'Microdia Webcam HD' driver on the VM (may I suggest that you take a look in Device Manager on the Win 11 Host for the drivers its using) ? The device is disconnected immediately when I try to connect it on VM Removable Devices, I am unable to try to find a driver to it because the device does not stay connected into VM Thanks
