Settings - Fusion 12.1.1 - Mac Big Sur Version 11.2.3 - CentOS Linux 7 Issue - Failed to share folder with Mac. - The folder /mnt/hgfs/ is empty on starting the virtual machine. - Similar issue: https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-Fusion-Discussions/Shared-folders-no-longer-showing-up-in-guest-OS-Ubuntu-16-04/td-p/509366 Current workaround - I am using the same solution posted in https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-Fusion-Discussions/Shared-folders-no-longer-showing-up-in-guest-OS-Ubuntu-16-04/td-p/509366 . Running the command `vmhgfs-fuse` seems to fix the issue properly. Question - Seeing that I'm on the latest fusion 12 + latest VMWare tools, I am wondering if there is a better way to fix this at the moment. Thank you for having a look!
