Hello everyone! According to the "Map or Mount a Virtual Disk to a Drive on the Host System" at https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Workstation-Pro/17/com.vmware.ws.using.doc/GUID-896E61F5-0865-4D3B-975E-DE476AFC7168.html the feature is available for Workstation 17 Pro (the dropdown menu is working accordingly). However the 17.0.0 release note at section #5 - Product Support Notices https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Workstation-Pro/17.0/rn/vmware-workstation-170-pro-release-notes/index.html quotes: "The option to map or mount a virtual disk to a drive on the host system is no longer available in Workstation Pro." -- Which one is correct, please? I would not upgrade from 16.2.5 to 17.0 if that feature has been actually removed. Thank you. Rob

I confirm that message is misleading. Just happened to me with a VM whose snapshot has been created by a crashing host before a forced shutdown. Your suggestion to delete the .lck folders was th... See more...
I confirm that message is misleading. Just happened to me with a VM whose snapshot has been created by a crashing host before a forced shutdown. Your suggestion to delete the .lck folders was the right solution! Thank you!
