Hi David I'm having the same problem with an ASUS ZenBook 14 (I posted on the forum on Nov 30 and haven't received any response yet). Have you found any solution to the problem?. The characteristics of the computer are: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) Product ID 00330-80180-72372-AA291 System Type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 11 Pro Edition Version 22H2 Thank you Manuel

Hi, I can't install VMware Workstation Player 16.2 or 17 on an ASUS Zenbook 14 with Windows 11 Pro. The installation is interrupted and I get the message "Setup failed to create de VMware group on this system". The characteristics of the computer are: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) Product ID 00330-80180-72372-AA291 System Type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 11 Pro Edition Version 22H2 Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. I have tried disabling Windows Defender completely and running the installation as administrator. Please could someone help me. Thank you very much.
