Ah it worked! You're a superhero! I was literally going mental on this. I really can't express enough how glad I am with this solution. My 2 kudos. Thanks a lot.

Hi all, I am indefinitely stuck at using two separate network bridges for my VMware player. I humbly seek for an insight, please kindly help look into this. So I have an internal NIC and an external NIC. Through the Virtual Network editor, I had bridged (and saved the configuration successfully) vmnet0 to my internal and vmnet10 to my external NIC. I intend to use both bridged networks (vmnet0 and vmnet10) inside the quest os. However, when I power up the vm, I only have the vmnet0 network available (detecting its correct gateway) and vmnet10 gets an annoying ip address that it shouldn't on that bridge. Furthermore, currently, I interchanged the bridging on these two interfaces (vmnet0 and vmnet10) such that vmnet0 bridges to my external and vmnet10 to my internal and also interchanged their cables. But to my surprise, the network on vmnet0 now correctly detects my desired network gateway interface with the newly switched cables but vmnet10 is still not detecting my bridged network. Please kindly help me out. I am slowly dying of this misery. (please find attached my network editor config)

Hello Good Community, I am having a problem with permanently saving my configurations in vmware virtual editor on Linux. First I opened the editor gui using vmware-netcfg from root of terminal but after removing all other interfaces from automatic bridging and quit, those changed never occur when I go back to the editor to have a look. I need my configuration to save and work so that I can conveniently bridge my newly bought network adapter to a different vms as I intend. Kindly help shed some lights please.

Thank you for your kindness. Yes, according to your instructions, I was able to achieve my desired setup. You were also right about the last part being tricky! This' what I did -> After bridging vmnet0 to enpso2 I had to specifically remove ip address on the enpso2 interface and also assign the Firewall LAN facing interface (vmnet1) as the default gateway (and dns) for all interfaces. Great light shedding . .connect:s Network is unreachs. Yes, according to your instructions, I was able to achieve my desired setup. You were also right about the 3rd part being tricky! After bridging vmnet0 to enpso2 I had to remove ip address on the enpso2 interface and also assign the Firewall LAN facing interface (vmnet1) as the default gateway for all interfaces. Hello Community, Greetings to the Community, Veterans and Noobs of VMware. Please kindly help look into this major issue I'm having. I have a Linux (Ubuntu) machine running a VMware Workstation Pro (trial version). I'm running a firewall device in this VM. I want the VM itself to use a dedicated enps02(/eth0) from my host so that I can configure it (the enps02 interface) as the gateway interface for my Firewall. This is desired to allow internet on the host ONLY through my firewall. Thanks, I sincerely hope for a resolution/idea.
