Hello, All VMs machines are using the VM8 NAT. (new printscreen attached). All are using the same Lan definitions. From Windows 2016 VM I can ping the Linux machine by its IP but not by the name. Linux cannot ping the Windows2016 VM Machine and also the PC/Laptop. But both  Windows 2016 VM and the PC/LAPTOP can ping the Linux machines but only trough the IP. Hope it helps and thanks a lot for your help. Regards

Hello, i will try to answer to your question, hope the spoiler tag is OK as I try to understand it! I assume that the Win [version unknown] PC/laptop has access to the internet and is working ? WINDOWS 10 PRO no problem for internet access and I can ping the Linux and Windows VM machines. OK - Are the 3 Linux VMs independent installs or clones ? 3 independants no clone machines. - Do you have any other types of operating system VMs that either work or exhibit the same issue ? Yes, I have also Windows 2016 and Windows 2019 server. I can have access to internet and working fine. - That there is no VPN in operation on the Win PC/laptop ? NO VPN activ on the PC/Laptop - could you run ipconfig /all on the Win PC/laptop, and post (preferably in a forum 'spoiler tag') See Tags hope it works fine? THanks for your help and support. My concern is the space disk on my laptop witch is growing fast, the whole VM machines cost around 300 G0. So, I am looking for solutions helping to reduce the space disk for each VM machine. I tried to defrag the disk but no free space result. Thanks in advance for your answers and advices. Regards

Hello, Indeed it was a DB2 problem and I solved it. I have another quesiton about network connection. Because of internal configuration I have to use custom VM Host only and keep existing IP ADDRESS, but doing that I am not able to get internet connection. Do you know a possibility on how I can maybe ad a network card getting internet. As example host only uses IP address: 190.190.120.20 and for Internet I must use Ip addresses from 190.190.200.20 up to .255. I tried to add a NAT card with this range but still does not work, means do not get outside. Maybe you can help and thanks in advance.  (IP addresses are not my context just examples).

Hello, After a while I was out for a long period, I succeed tofix a new IP address and now I can logon. I used nmuti command and there I was able to set the IPaddress correctly. Now, I have a new problems isthat the VM generates errors like: SQL0980C A disk error occurred. Subsequent SQL statements cannot be processed. It looks like that the files or others elements are corrupted. Do you have any idea on where I should analyse the problems or should I open a new Post?? Thanks again for your help.
