Hi, I am trying to communicate between two Windows 10 VMs on a Windows 10 laptop with Workstation Pro. I can only ever ping one of the VMs if I have two of them running, I cannot ping from VM-VM or from both VMs to the host, I have to shut one of them down. I am sure I have done this successfully before on a Macbook using Fusion. can anyone offer any advice on this? Thank you

Hi, When the USB-C adapter is plugged into the network, it shows up in the dropdown menu.   I have selected this with vmnet0, the connection drops out occasionally, but with this selected I do not have to restart the VM andreset the defaults, it connects automatically. You've been a great help, thank you very much.

Hi, I am running a Windows 10 VM on a Windows 10 host PC for PLC programming. I communicate to the PLC network through a USB-C to ethernet adapter. Occasionally, the communications drop out, if this happens the only way I can re-establish comms, is to shutdown the VM and restore defaults in the virtual network editor, as this can happens a few times each day, it can be very frustrating. When this happens I cannot ping the host either, until the defaults are restored and the VM re-started. I am using the bridged connection in the VM. Can anyone help with this?   Thank you

I have Dell Precision 5560 64gb Ram, that I use to run a windows 7 VM. After a period of inactivity, the vm is extremely slow, it gets to the point that it has to be restarted. Minimising and maximising a running application can take several seconds, with it gradually appearing. Clicking with the mouse can again take a long time before there is any response. Any ideas what is causing this?
