Dear friends, I can't manage to make clipboard work in built-in VNC of VMware Workstation Pro. It's highly inconvenient. Clipboard easily works even in free VirutalBox, but they use RDP as built-in remote control. Is there any chance to make clipboard work in VMware Workstation Pro?

Dear friends, I'm unable to run VM via vmrun and SSH using script I can run VM locally via vmrun I can run VM via SSH if I login to SHH server manually and manually enter this command "vmrun.exe -T ws start "G:\VMs\myVM.vmx" and press Enter. But unfortunately I can't run it using any script, for example when I try to run script [ ssh administrator@192.168.5.5 -t "startvm.bat" ] where bat-file includes previous command "vmrun.exe -T ws start "G:\VMs\myVM.vmx" - VM starts and after several seconds stops immediately. I can see it in tray icon. Same behavior if I use plink script, for example [plink -ssh administrator@192.168.5.5 -pw mypassword -no-antispoof -m "startvm.txt"] where txt-file includes same previous command "vmrun.exe -T ws start "G:\VMs\myVM.vmx" Same behavior even if I use Linux SSH client. Could you please explain how to make things work : )

Dear friends, I'm using VMware Workstation 16.2.3 Pro with Win10x64 Pro and struggling with a weird issue with library panel view, with some time it become so wide that I can't see the console of my VM on the right side. The only thing that helps to reset this wide view is complete uninstall and than install VMware Workstation again, but after some time the situation repeat itself. Is there any way to reset library view size without clean reinstalling VMware Workstation?

Thank you very much friend for detailed explanation! I use only windows for VNC connections and Win+Space works really fine. I didn't know about it. But Alt+Shift also swithes between layouts but after switching the following layout can't be typed for some reason. You can easily reproduce it with Real VNC client for Windows. Anyways if it's not possible to fix "Alt+Shift", I'm OK to take some time to become used with new key combination.

Thank you so much, friend! I restarted my PC and voila! Now the Russian layout works!!! The only annoying problem is that I can't switch between layouts with Left Alt+Shift. It can only be switched with a mouse click. Maybe this can be fixed somehow? I think you can test the Russian layout through the on-screen keyboard.

First of all, my friend, I would like to thank you for your time and attention. I've renamed this txt file to "ru" without extension and putted it in corresponding directory. Unfortunately it doesn't help with any types of VNC client configuration. I do believe that it's not honorable for VMware to ignore the presence of biggest country of the world. We can't use native VNC functionality without support of Russian layout.

Hello dear friends, Is it possible to have working En-Ru layouts during VNC session in VMware Workstation 16 for Windows? I can't find vnckeymap file for Russian Layout in corresponding directory - C:\ProgramData\VMware\vnckeymap. I'm not sure that I have enough knowledge to create a custom layout file. Is there any reliable and not very difficult solution? Any help will be highly appreciated.
