Agree 13.0.1 still has this problem - seems less frequent- but occurs with both Windows 10 and Linux guests in macOS host

Host: 16GB total Core i7 8750 (6-real core / 12- virtual core - thus 4 virtual cores allocated to Fusion (4 or 6 makes no difference). I never noticed a problem on Win7 on my previous MBP (a slower machine with less memory). It's not a memory issue - and it appears related to certain types of edit boxes - newer types that support the Ease of Access improved text cursor are fast.   I don't know if it is related to old type of Edit Box control being inefficiently redrawn in the driver?

I've had this problem for a while on my 15" MBP 2018 Player Version 12.1.2 VMWare tools installed Win10 up to date When typing in edit boxes, Libreoffice and some other programs there is a few 100ms lag. 4 CPU cores  8GB Enable hypervisor Accel 3D Gfx (3d Apps only), 8192MB memory   Settings - Ease of Access - Text Cursor - Turn on Text Cursor indicator - fixes the lag in some edit boxes but no in others.   Any ideas what else I can try? It makes document editing and basic work tedious.
I can confirm that 11.1.1 does not fix the issue for me (Enabling VMWare 3D Accelerated graphics causes Citrix Receiver Win 10 VM to break)

Thanks - as my VM is not encrypted, and I had already done most of the other items (no HDD buffering, etc), I was wondering if that was a different issue due to the dependency (for me) of 3D Acce... See more...

Fusion Version 11.1.0 (13668589) MBP2018 15 inch (discrete Gfx) macOS Mojave 10.14.6 VM: is Win10 64bit Pro 6 cores, 6GB Using remote desktop via Citrix, to a company Win10 machine If Settings -> Accelerate 3D graphics is selected in VMWare Fusion then the remote desktop session in VMWare Fusion is UNUSABLE It beachballs so hard that I cannot even send reboot or shutdown, I have to go back to Activity Monitor and kill vmware process If Settings -> Accelerate 3D graphics is disabled then the remote desktop can be used, but still uses ENORMOUS amounts of CPU resources. Any plans to fix this? I need the 3D Graphics acceleration for other (non-RDP) applications, so right now VMware Fusion is useless for me.

This is a major impact on usability. It is very disappointing that VMWare doesn't have the professionalism to acknowledge the problem and the timeline for a fix. Looking at Parallels now...
