Sorry, never saw the question Yes, I was able to get it to work
Seems to happen mostly on Resume after Suspend Does not happen as much when VM is started after shutting down

Hello, Have multiple VMs that can be opened and run simultaneously.  In Windows 10, open VM in admin mode, accept UAC, and then open .vmx file. Most often I'll suspend the VM. The first VM opens fine. Subsequent VMs need me to delete the .lck file before they'd open. Get the following error
Hello, Need to create a VM that will not have access Host such as copy-paste, folder share etc. Is there a list of settings that one can follow to help create such a VM? Thanks
Yes, it seems that Accelerate 3D graphics needs to be enabled to use features of Google meets that depend upon hardware acceleration.   Just in case someone else has a similar query.

Hello, Working on a VM (WS-15) and Google meet asks to enable hardware acceleration. I went to browser settings and see that it is enabled so am not sure what Google meet is complaining about. I do see that VM->settings->Display -> Accelerate 3D graphics is disabled. Does browser hardware acceleration depend upon the above VM settings?

You can't be serious. You're suggesting to use a DNS to bypass VPN DNS and defeat the purpose of VPN. And are you sure DNS leaks are very common with these VPNs. Used a couple without any issue, am having problem with just one. Also, had an issue with Bridged vs NAT that was posted in another thread.

Hello, On WS15.5.2, was wondering how to improve network performance, network seems to be lagging. don't know if recent windows updates is the culprit. On speedtest, my host on wireless gets 400 u/d, whereas from the guest it barely reaches 80/80 and the needle spikes back and forth instead of smooth movement. Any ideas? Thanks
Got the following from dump file: Did take a look at - [SOLVED] BSOD on vm3dmp.sys after installing VMWare Tools 7 on Windows 7  but i don't see DisplayLink drivers on my guest
Your error seems to be quite similar to what I've been getting for quite some time now.. See - WS15.5 VM crashes on resume

These errors occur quite frequently on Win-7 VMs and less so on Win-10. But happens in both. NEVER happened before with WS v12. Started happening after upgraded to v15. Got latest updates etc. No hardware changes etc. at all in all these VMs, just normal Windows 7/10 and updates. My scenario: Host is Win-10 Pro, VMs are Win-7Pro and Win-10 Pro, WS-15.5.2 Have a wireless mouse and its usb adapter connected all the time. I suspend these VMs and then once I resume, I get these errors.
bumping again

OP - Can you check what option is selected under VM - > Manage -> Change Hardware Compatability Click on Next on First Screen and in the first dropdown select 15.5 and then you can select the options that suit you such as 'Clone first' and then apply. After having done that, my VM BSOD from resume has disappeared ever since, though it has been only a few days but not ONE BSOD.

Bumping this as now it seems to be happening with other suspended VMs without snapshots
