Do you have a active native boot camp partition on your MAC and want to run it as a virtual machine or want to create a new virtual machine. If you want to create a new virtual machine, you need to install the virtual machine using the required OS installation media ( .iso / installation disc ).

You need to select " Install from Boot Camp" If you the Bootcamp partition is available, you will get two options: 1. Create a Boot Camp virtual Machine  ** This option will run the boot camp as a virtual machine      2. Import your Bootcamp volume ** This option will import the boot camp as a independent virtual machine. Post import it will run as a independent virtual machine in Fusion with no connection with the native bootcamp volume.
Try removing the Network Adaptor in the Virtual Machine settings and add a new network adapter and check the status.

Below are the easy steps which helps ( It worked for me ) : - Download the " Install macOS High Sierra" or "Install macOS Mojave" from App Store - Drag it from application folder to the desktop - Go to VMware Fusion > File > New > Install from disc or image > Continue - Drag the "Install macOS High Sierra" or "Install macOS Mojave" to the box or select "Use another disc image" and select the installer file from desktop - Continue the installation Regards, Anupam
