Thanks for the information. It is possible that the vmware virtual network adapter send dhcp re-fresh request as a client before the DHCP service ready from the wake up. Would you please try to configure a static IP address to the "Ethernet VMware Network Adapter VMnet8" (192.168.142.1/255.255.255.0 for your case just leave the gateway and DNS blank should be fine), and again try the sleep/wake up action

I can not reproduce the issue you hit after sleep and resume the Win10 host. Would you please share your Win10 host version? You can open a command line and there will be the information such as "Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.1198]" ?  And it that possible to paste the output of "ipconfig /all" when you hit the issue?

Thanks for reporting this issue. I tried to set the enhanced keyboard setting under options and general set to "Required", and the VM indeed need some wait time (less than 1 min) before the restart action and I have filled an internal bug to track that issue. Thanks again.

I have a Win 10 2004 Host (19041.508) with VMware Workstation 16 installed. I changed the "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options" and select the host to hibernate when press power button. Then I press the host power button to hibernate the windows host and press the power button again to bring it back. However can not reproduce your issue. Would you please have a check if the "Ethernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet1" and "Ethernet adapter VMware Network Adapter VMnet1" can be seen through the "ipconfig /all" output?

Seems you have also installed virtuabox on your windows host? Would you please remove the virtualbox and have a another try? And also make sure there is not any third-party software that would cause the network issue. Ideally the ipv6 ping from VM to Host physical adapter should work

Can CentOS VM ping with your host ipv6 address in NAT mode? If the CentOS7 VM works in Bridge mode, is that possible to ping the ipv6.google.com?
VM's IPv6 connection depends on your host network. If your host can not connect to the external IPv6 address, VM also can not
Actually VMware Workstation provides the stateless IPv6 configuration to VM and no need to config the gateway.  Would you please make sure you can ping  "ping6 ipv6.google.com" on your host?
Hi, Thanks for your feedback. What's the video? online video or certain type of local video file such as mp4? And what's your host system?

Hi, Pheckphul: We are sorry to brought the issue to you. Is that possible to upgrade your Workstation v12.5.9 to Workstation v15.5.6 on CentOS Host? I tested on my environment and the result shows it works fine if both Client and Server also run with Workstation 15.5.6.
Would you please make sure both the client and server side use VMware Workstation 15.5.6 and try if can still reproduce the issue? Thanks a lot
