I have recently found an annual subscription charge via Digital River that is suspicious.  Further investigation reveals this is a VMWare charge for Fusion v6 that was purchased back in the day.  I believe this was a perpetual license at the time that over recent years I am being charged annual subscription.... for a product that is now end of life!   Biggest issue - I cannot seem to cancel this and cannot get any phone support here in Australia. Does anybody have any input as to how I can get this issue resolved and even get some compensation from VMWare?  My experience so far borders on criminal activity.

Same problem here!!! Running VM with Win7 and experiencing extremely poor performance. VM takes >5mins to start up and is then unusable once it does start and just freezes. Win7 Virtual machine is a base Windows install with only 1 application installed - MS Project. Running VMWare Fusion on MacBook Pro (Late 2011) running Mavericks OS. Have tried increasing the memory allocation to the VM with no improvement. Very disappointed with product since paying for this upgrade to work with Mavericks.

Hi, New to the Mac world but still need some MS products to run on a Win7 image (MS PRoject, Visio).  I have installed VMWare Fusion 4 and then created a Win7 image using my install media.  However it is defaulting to Chinese install and I am not prompted anywhere in the install to correct this. Anybody else faced similar experiences and how do I over come this? Appreciate any assistance. Mark
