Please try this... 1. In  Fusion, go to your virtual machine's Sharing settings (Virtual Machine  menu > Shared Folders > Open Shared Folders Settings...) 2. Check the box to "Allow the virtual machine to open applications on your Mac". 3. Shut down (don't just suspend) your virtual machine, and exit Fusion. When  next you start up the virtual machine, you can use the "Open With..."  dialogue (or the Folder Options Control Panel) to set the default  application to use to open files of that type. Below the "Recommended  Programs" section, at the top of the "Other Programs" section, you'll  see the VMware logo and the line "Default Host Application". Select  that, and you'll be able to use the Mac program assigned to open files  with that extension from within the virtual machine.
You just trun off your guest machine firewall that may help..

As you mentions  Network adapter in VM is configured to be bridged (to get its own IP  address) and when i am within the OS that is installed on the VM the IP i  get back is a diffirent one then the host OS. If you are using brodge network then you have to get same subnet ip address as your host. I think you configure the vm NIC as DHCP then renew the ip address also make sure that you are getting same subnet IP address as your host.

when there is a delay of communication between the client and vc.  Since  you're looking at the client log, you may want to check the vc server  log as well, which you may have done already.  Run a continuous ping  against your vc in a dos window and make sure your dos window buffer is  pretty large.  Then, when you have a disconnect, you can see if you  actually did lose connection to vc, and for how many pings. abirhasan

You better set Network Adapters as set to Bridge (VMnet8 and VMnet1) and DHCP. That's may help better. abirhasan
I think this is normal. Because it take time to start windows and other startup service , so it will take 3-4 min. abirhasan
