I am in the process of migrating a vm from my old mac to my replacement. I can't upgrade the old Mac's Fusion given the IOS rev 10.1.16 Regarding the new Mac, if I install Fusion 11.5, will I be able to migrate the 10.1.16's vm successfully to the new Mac. Haven't actually migrated a vm before .. any documentation recommendations to guide me.

I just purchased a new iMac running osx v 10.7.3. I would like to install Fusion4 to runa few of my existing Windows applications. I see that I can install a windows vm using easyinstall (need a valid windows cd/lic) or I can create the vm from the boot camp particition., I am assuming the boot camp partition includes a windows os. What functionality would I lack if I install from the boot camp partition?
