I found the direct link via Google - it was the top result: https://mylearn.vmware.com/gw/mylearn/course/course-details/96168 The link I posted previously did include a link to the Customer Connect Learning Premium Subscription which you need to access the course: https://mylearn.vmware.com/gw/mylearn/course/course-details/82786?tabId=0
This https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcta-nv.html website scott28tt provides talks about the certification, but doesn't seem to do anything to point you to the course.
I too can't find this course anywhere.  I just sent an email to eduoperations@vmware.com but figured I'd keep looking in the meantime.

Hello IT Academy community, With the launch of the vSphere 8 course labs by our partner NDG we now have all academic resources in place for institutions to migrate their courses from vSphere 7 to vSphere 8. As such we can determine the exact end of life dates for the academic resources based on vSphere 7: Course content: all vSphere 7 courses will be removed from our portals (Kivuto, D2L, Gilmore) on the 1 st of January 2024 Exam: The VCP-DCV exam based on vSphere 7 will expire on the 31 st of January 2024 NDG Labs: End of vSphere 7 course labs purchase of access codes, bulk orders, and enrollment on November 31st 2023 End of vSphere 7 course labs purchase of direct access and claiming of access codes on December 31st 2023 EOL vSphere 7 course lab process starts on January 31st, 2024 Final shut down of the vSphere 7 course labs on July 1st 2024 Licenses and software: vSphere 7 will be removed from our academic resource offerings upon release of a new vSphere version. Hope this information is helpful to plan your migration towards the vSphere 8 academic resources. More information for the migration can be found here: - https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-IT-Academy-Discussions/Migrating-from-the-vSphere-7-ICM-course-to-vSphere-8-ICM-FAQ/m-p/2970019#M321 - https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-IT-Academy-Discussions/Announcement-VITA-Instructors-can-now-access-upon-request-the-On/m-p/2969375#M320 Happy to answer any questions there might be. Hi all, Below the most common questions and answers regarding moving your teachings from vSphere 7 ICM to vSphere 8 ICM content.   Overview  Q. Were the topics covered in lecture changed drastically from the VMware® vSphere®: ICM v7 course?  About 85% of the topics covered in the vSphere: ICM v7 course are the same as in the vSphere: ICM v8 course.    Lecture  Q. Were any topics moved to a different portion of  the course?  Yes. The lessons about creating virtual machines (VMs) were moved to module 7 in the vSphere: ICM v8 course.    Q. Were any topics removed from the lecture?  Yes. Most of the content related to Kubernetes, Baselines, vSAN™ and vCenter® Performance Charts and Alerts were removed and added to other courses such as vSphere: Operate, Scale and Secure v8.    Q. Were any topics added to the lecture?  Yes. Multiple lessons about vCenter Content Libraries were added. Also, there were some small additions such as a page on VMware vSphere+.    Q. Does the vSphere: ICM v8 course cover new features of vSphere 8?  No. Those topics are covered in other courses such as vSphere: Operate, Scale and Secure v8.    Labs    Q. Were any major changes made to the topics covered in the lab exercises?  No. But the lab exercises were reordered to match lecture topics order.    Q. Were any major changes made to the lab environment?  Yes. All Windows operating systems were removed from the lab environment.    Q. Will vSphere v8 run on the same physical hardware as vSphere v7?  Maybe. Some older CPUs are no longer supported. For details, see KB 82794.    Q. Where is the lab setup guide for the vSphere: ICM v8 course available?  The guide is available in the vSphere: ICM v8 course instructor resources on D2L Brightspace.    Q. Are prebuilt lab environment VMs available  through CSSIA?  Yes. See the “Resources” section of the CSSIA website.    Q. Q: Are vSphere: ICM v8 labs available from NDG?  Yes. See the NDG website.       Resources    Q. Where are instructor teaching resources located?  Teaching resources are located inside the vSphere: ICM v8 course pages on D2L Brightspace.       Q. Are vSphere: ICM v8 resources available through Gilmore?  Yes. On your Gilmore Global portal website, enter “vSphere” or “V8” in the search field.    Q. Are VMware On Demand (OD) recorded lectures available to VMware IT Academy instructors?  Yes. The OD recorded lecture is available through a request process in the VMware communities.    Q. Are there ways to get hands-on experience with  vSphere v8?  Yes. IT Academy instructors can request demonstration access to the vSphere: ICM v8 labs on the NDG website. You can also use the free vSphere v8 VMware Hands-on Labs.    Q. Are there any videos covering the changes to the vSphere: ICM course?  Yes. The IT Academy team posted two videos to YouTube covering changes between the vSphere: ICM v7 course and the vSphere: ICM v8 course.    Video 1: vSphere:ICM v8 (eight) Course Updates - Part 1 of 2: Overview    Video 2:  vSphere:ICM v8 (eight) Course Updates - Part 2 of 2: Module Details          Hope this helps, Vincent

VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage (Link to the commercial course: https://mylearn.vmware.com/gw/mylearn/course/course-details/100653) 2. VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale (Link to the commercial course: https://mylearn.vmware.com/gw/mylearn/course/course-details/100659)   Why? - With these 2 online courses you can prepare yourself at your own pace for teaching vSphere in your classroom.   How can I access the course labs? - Our partner NDG has offered to provide VITA instructors free lab access to learn the vSphere course practical angle. https://www.netdevgroup.com/demo   Great! So how do I get access to the courses? - Here are the steps to get access as a VITA Instructor: 1. Create an account on the VMware Learning portal (you'll need that account to get VMware certified): VMware Education 2. Send us an email:      2.1. to request vSphere On Demand course access      2.2. including your VMware Learning portal account email address      2.3. The email can go to: itacademy@vmware.com   In the future we envision this process to be more automated. Feel free to comment should there be questions,

Ever since this year's renewal of the Academic Software License I've been unable to send out email invitations to my new class lists. I've followed the guides and made sure I've selected the available licenses. I've tried multiple emails, but nothing is going out, and no email is getting sent when I "re-send". I've checked spam, nothing. This has been going on over a week. Anyone else seeing this?

I am excited to see that we can now create vSphere 8 ICM and OS classes. However the VITA Lab Setup guides for version 8 are missing from D2L. Can we please have access to the guide? I'd like to start teaching 8 in summer, but I need time to build out and test the lab environment.
There is an update because yesterday I don't have this option and now I can create vsphere 8 class.

Hi Team, So I have created both the vSphere 8 ICM and OSS courses. The lecture manual for the OSS course is just a PDF of the PowerPoint slides and missing the actual lecture notes, so you may need to reprint that PDF with the notes enabled. Can I also ask where to locate the lab manuals for both courses? Cheers, David Brooks Box Hill Institute.
