You are not running the 2023 Tech Preview. You have downloaded and installed last year's obsolete 22H2 Tech Preview.

Just FYI - The July 2023 version of the 2023 Tech Preview Testing Guide provided by VMware contains an incorrect link for the download of the Tech Preview’s installer. Using the link in that document will direct you to the 2H22 Tech Preview download which should no longer be used..

The correct download link for the Tech Preview is https://customerconnect.vmware.com/downloads/get-download?downloadGroup=FUS-TP2023 .

The download link that is found on the Fusion 2023 Tech Preview page in the VMware Communities https://communities.vmware.com/t5/Fusion-2023-Tech-Preview/ct-p/fusion2023 is correct.

You can fix this by shutting down Fusion, dragging the VMware Fusion Tech Preview.app found in /Applications to the Trash, then downloading  and installing the 2023 Tech Preview from the links above.
