Thank you for sharing that. "Appears to work, but may not be supported" is good enough for our case.
I went ahead and upgraded over the weekend as we've been having some stability issues with vCenter 5.5 U1, and I can confirm that vCloud Usage Meter is still able to communicate with 5.5 U2.
