Hello,
What are the ways to offer load-balancing within VMware Cloud on AWS.
Two options are available today:
1. Use the AWS Elastic Load-Balancers.
2. Deploy a 3rd Party Load-Balancer (F5, AVI Network, etc…)
Are there any other options?
Regards
PK

Hi PK,
You're right, today you have the choice between AWS ELB, 3rd party, AVI Network which is now a VMware solution. In this case, AVI is customer managed.
This is why, we are planning to better integrate AVI into VMC to make it VMware managed as an addon.
Hope that helps

Hi Emmanuel ,
Thanks for the reply.
So, do we offer AVI Network which is now a VMware solution and part of NSX-T enterprise edition if customer is using VMC on AWS? If yes, where do we get the licensing and costing for this? I believe it will work as the way ELB and F5 works?
Or shall we offer them with AWS ELB or third party eg F5?
Regards
PK

I do recommend you to contact your VMware sales rep or VMware AVI specialist since at this moment, this is not included into VMware Cloud on AWS.
Thank you
