Did anyone else get a VMware bag??

Hi guys

I just finished my VCP4 4 day training course and walked out without a VMware bag to the amusement of my colleagues who had done the VMware course a few months back and got a snazzy VMware backpack at the end of it.

So I'm just wondering if anyone else got a VMware bag at the end of their course, or if it's just our class that missed out?

Thanks! Smiley Happy

Wow - I have taken three VMware courses but no bags. I took one back in Jan 2009, one in Dec, 2009 and one in 2010 but no bags. Maybe your coworkers got some promotion material that week but its not the norm.

Yeah I got a bag, it's nothing to write home about, it's been collecting dust ever since.. It's pretty small, not very useful...

But it was free..

I have so many VMware bags, I'd gladly give you one of mine.

Did you take the class from VMware directly or through a VATC? - I do not believe VATC provide bags -

I took the course directly via VMware. Not a big deal, just wondered if I was being jibbed. Office work joke and all. Thanks guys.

I think VMware deliberately did not give you the bag to make more profit. Smiley Wink

Somehow I think the voucher is a better deal. Seems the voucher will pay divedens better than a bag. (Assuming you pass Smiley Wink )

As a VCI who works for a VATC, I think VMware should provide their courseware with a bag or in a box with a carry handle - the courseware costs enough Smiley Wink

Hi,

I took my course via VATC in Dubai but we get only 3 books, one pen and one form for LAB. Thats all we get.

May be next time I can get some VMware Branded stuff.

By the way, I have a question.

Is it possible to order something from VMware Shop like this and receive it in during the course or exam or ...

Because I think, I can't order anything to my current location Smiley Sad
