How to get vm certificate expiration dates with vsphere api

Im looking to create a REST client to collect VM certificate expiration dates.

Looking at the API explorer I see a call to -get trusted_infrastructure/trust_authority_clusters/kms/providers/client_certificate- but I am unsure what the 'provider' parameter is referring to.

Also when i check the vSphere Client (HTML5) I see certificate information for a host (Configure>Certificate). is this info available on the API?

This a domain specific question and not related to the vSphere Client SDK.
