SDK for VMWare Workstation & VMWare Player
Hi, all!
If VIX is deprecated, what SDK can I use to manage the VMWare Workstation & VMWare Player?
I can't find any word about VMWare Workstation in "VMware vSphere Automation SDK for .NET Programming Guide".
Regards, Dmitry.

PS: I need a way to control (connect and disconnect) network interfaces of VMWare Workstation/Player guest machine from my application.
I can't find how to do this manipulations with VIX API.

Its only deprecated for vSphere AFAIK. Player, Workstation & Fusion are still supported:
- VIX API deprecated in vSphere. In ESXi 5.0, guest operations are available in the vSphere API, under managed objects GuestAuthManager, GuestFileManager, GuestOperationsManager, and GuestProcessManager. JAX-WS based code samples are provided in the Web Services SDK. So VIX API support for vSphere and ESXi is deprecated in this release. Deprecation means that VIX is currently a supported API, but VIX will be unsupported in the second major release after vSphere 5. VIX support will continue for VMware Workstation and Player.
