Rdp using vmware esxi vmwares
Hi,
I have a problem, I was using Vmware with the softwares I needed to share with my workers fine but then a problem occured with one of them, the software I needed to share are single user only, as in only 1 user can use them and I have more then 10 people who are gonna use this simultaneously, is there any way I can make rdp give my staff members seperate instances for each new rdp connection that connects to that Vm? or I can turn the software into multiuser software

I don’t think this is a question for a VMware user forum, the situation sounds specific to your guest OS or your application software.

Hi,
when you use RDP I thing that you use it with Win OS?
if yes I suggest you to change it for Win Server which offer to connect each user over RDP without disconnecting the others. I thing for 10 users will be enough to have the Essentials version.

Hi,
when you use RDP you use it with WIN OS? Is it true?
If yes you can range the OS to Server version witch allow you to connect each user over RDP without need to disconnect the others. When you have there 10 users it should be enough for you to have the Essentials version.

Pretty sure that without hacking XP it only supports a single inbound RDP session, so even if your application was multi-user friendly your OS isn’t.
For 10 users you’ll need 10 separate XP VMs each with your application software, unless you find some other method.
This isn’t really a question for a VMware user forum though, the fact you’re running XP in a VM doesn’t sound relevant to the issues.

Hi,
I mean with it that as it was written above that your OS isn't a multiuser. All Pro and Home version of Win are build as a single user, so only one user can be connected to it. When you need to have it as a multiuser (more users connected) you will need the server version of Win OS. Therefor I suggest you to change the system to the server version that you can have one VM with one installed software with possibility to connect to it more users at the same time.

Hi,
do you have tried to install the Win without the card added to the VM if the problem is in the card or in the VM settings for the Win you will try to install?
You need to know that by installing the newest Win version on older HW can happen issues like this.
What Win version you try to install and from year is your host HW?
