Number of processors

I'm at a blank when it comes to adding more than 1 processor for vmware 16 pro. I installed macOS Sanoma on vmware workstation and followed the instructions I found to finish the installation and this virtual machine is running very slow.

Host is running a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K with 128GB of RAM the fastest computer I've built, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti video card. When I try to add another processor I receive this  warning about adding additional processors.

Other than software configuration I don't understand why I cannot add another processor, booting up macOS is slow, running it is even slower, I did do something that is probably not recommended, and article I found stated that disabling Core Isolation speeds up the vm however leaving you open to attacks like malware.

Is there some sort of solution to this other than disabling security features in the host?

It is a violation of Apple's licensing to run their OS on non-Apple hardware.  We cannot help you here or VMware could get into legal trouble.  Also note that in order to even try to run MacOS on Workstation, you have to hack the software - so you've come to a vendor's site admitting you illegally modified their software and are asking for help with it!
