License Transfer If Buying New Computer with Different OS

Hi,

I cant contact any support regarding this question. Does anyone know if i am eligible for a reduced price if i go from VMWare Fusion Pro to the Workstation Pro or do i have to buy another full license? I would want to transfer if possible.

What version of Fusion do you own and what version of Workstation do you want to use?

Licenses can be freely moved as follows

  • Fusion 12 (player or Pro) licenses can be used on Fusion 12 or Workstation 16
  • Workstation 16 (player or Pro) licenses can be used on Fusion 12 or Workstation 16
  • Fusion 13 (player or Pro) licenses can be used on Fusion 13 or Workstation 17
  • Workstation 17 (player or Pro) licenses can be used on Fusion 13 or Workstation 17

Earlier version licenses are not interchangeable between Fusion and Workstation.
