Laptop Lid Power Settings in VM
I have a VM set up for Windows 11 all ready to go and I deploy the same image to laptops and desktops. Is there any way for me to change the VM itself to act as though it were a laptop? If not, is there some registry key that controls the laptop lid settings that I could add instead?
The goal is to set windows to "do nothing" when the lid closes, and to set it to never sleep while on AC power.

I'll be honest, I'm not very good at coding, and even with some ChatGPT to assist I do not believe I can complete that within my deadline. I was hoping I could "trick" the VM into thinking it was a laptop so Windows will open the laptop lid/power settings menu so I can change it in the UI with just a few clicks. I know there's likely some registry key or an XML file I can use as well, I'm just having trouble finding exactly what I need.
Thank you for the post though! I'll try and translate that code into something I can use.
