VMs fail to start under Win11
My laptop was recently updated from Win10 to Win11, and since then, I have a couple of important VMs that simply refuse to start (Ubuntu18 VM starts without issue). I am running WKS 15 Pro. I have attached two log files from the VMs that fail.
Hyper-V is not running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Hyper-V might not be running, but your host has restricted the use of VMware hypervisor in such as way that it will only run VM's under Hyper-V's API's.
As is seen by an excerpt of the first VM's log:
2023-10-05T10:40:55.611+02:00| vmx| I005: Monitor Mode: ULM
ULM= User Level Mode.
edit: Let me try to be a bit more helpful.
There's a great many posts at the forum here that have details on how-to switch back to being able to use VMware's hypervisor.
Here's a post that seems to have listed most parts: https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-Workstation-Pro/Disabling-Hyper-V-hypervisor-on-Windows-11-... (sorry haven't verified it all, but it looks ok)
