when I try to start my Windows11 Pro VMs I get a message stating -This virtual machine is encrypted

I had an SSD drive crash and the data was unrecoverable, the hardware died. I was given a new SSD hardware drive, loaded all OS and software for VMware Workstation Pro17. My VMs were located on a different drive and when I try to start my Windows11 Pro VMs I get a message stating "This virtual machine is encrypted. You must enter its password to continue. I do not recall anything for a password when created it. I have tried all my known passwords but they all fail. There is an option that states "Remember the password on this machine in the Credential Manager". Is there a way to recover the password? I have a backup of the drive before it died, is there a way to get the password information from it possibly or another way?
