Turn off Hyper-v
I have tried to turn off Hyper-V many times however, no matter what I do, when I go into system info section, it still says a hypervisor has been detected. Does anyone know how to disable Hyper-V or tell me why Hyper-V won't turn off. I am running VMWare Workstation Pro 17 on a Windows 11 21H2 build.

In Windows, open Turn Windows Features On or Off and make sure any Windows feature that is virtualization or Hyper-V related is unchecked.
Disable Memory Integrity/VBS settings by opening the Windows settings, opening Windows Security -> Device Security -> Core Isolation and turn off the "Memory Integrity" slider
Disable any Hyper-V activity by opening a command prompt as administrator and executing bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
(You may need to disable Secure Boot from your EFI firmware temporarily to do this)

Hello everyone,
I encountered the same issue with Windows 10 22H2. I disabled the following Windows features:
- Hyper-V
- Windows Hypervisor Platform
- Virtual Machine Platform
I executed the command
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
and I also disabled "Turn On Virtualization Based Security" in the Group Policies (Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> System >> Device Guard)
Hyper-V is still running ... What has windows done ...
