I have installed the demo version of Workstation Pro 17 which I really like. Now I have all my setup ready and I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 and I want to buy the full version. I am experiencing some other issues related to my PC and unfortunately I need to send it back. This means I need a new PC.

Due to a lot of issues I had with Windows OS, I am thinking to switch to a Mac, so the question is, is migration possible from Windows Host to Mac Host? If yes, how? 

If the answer is no, then the question is, can I migrate my configured image to a different PC with Windows? If yes, does it matter what CPU it has? Should it be the same brand?

The last question , if for example I will buy the Wokstation Pro, but then I switch to Mac, is it possible to switch the licenses or I need to buy again for the corresponding platform?
