Is there any chance to recreate .vmdk file
Hi all,
Is there any chance to recreate .vmdk file. Accidentaly it is deleted, but all other files (.vmx rtc.) is here?

What type of virtual disk was it (monolithic vs. split-disk, preallocated vs growable)?
You could attach both the vmware.log file and a directory contents listing (including filenames, dates and sizes).

Sorry, the vmdk file header info isn't in the log. I didn't expect it, but always worth investigating.
Unfortunately, if you've deleted the file, you've lost your virtual disk which contains all the contents of the hard drive of the virtual machine. @a_p_ any other thoughts?

I'd love to help, but I'm afraid there's nothing I can do other to recommend using a file recovery tool to see whether the missing "TIA v17.vmdk" can be recovered. Even if that's the case, there's a high chance of corruption because of possibly overwritten data blocks.
