Please provide some more details about your host system, the VMware Workstation you use, ... As an alternative, attach your VM's latest vmware.log to your next reply. This file contains most of the required information.
Sounds like you have enabled the V-in-V (aka Nested Virtualization) options for that VM. There has been a thread ealier in these forums about that as well.
