Why i can not copy/paste files from my windows 10 to windows server 2016 inside vmware workstation

I have the following:-

  • Windows 10 home edition

  • I install vmware workstation + windows server 2016 inside the VMWare workstation.

  • I define to allow drag/drop, as follow:-

But currently if i copy a file from my windows 10 i can not paste it inside the vmware's Windows Server 2016? any advice?

Have you already installed the VMware Tools in your virtual machine?
