My vmware closes randomly after refocusing on the host. This happens immediately I click outside the vmware window.Below is what I have tried before which works at times though not frequently.
- Removing pclslot lines in the windows vmx file.
- Deleting log files in the vmx directory.
- Deleting current sessions lck files.
The guest OS is windows 10 in Pop OS. I have also had the same problem virtualizing windows in other Debian distros including Debian OS, Ubuntu and Kali.
The guest has the following config.
- Ram is 5.4
- processors 2
- Storage 250 gb ssd nvme
- Network - Bridged (Automatic)
